Sustainability is a key area of interest to Designers, Architects and the wider community.

Sustainable Design Principles Event (SDPE) provides an avenue to engage with and discover new sustainable products and learn about the sustainable future of Sydney through key commercial and residential projects 

This year, the SDPE topic will be USE AND APPLICATION OF SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS TO COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS.  
The event is registered for 2x GBCA CPD points and 4x DIA CPD points.

Welcome by City of Sydney Independent Team Councillor, Jenny Green

Opening speakers, Anita Mitchell, Lend Lease General Manager, Sustainability Barangaroo South and Darryl Stuckey, Sustainability Analyst, Lend Lease Design, will give a strategy update on Barangaroo South with a presentation on the sustainable materials used.

Keynote speaker, Chris Knierim, MD of Designer Constructions Group will discuss the sustainable aspects, challenges and materials used on his international award winning Forest Lodge ECO Home.

Our MC for the event is Mariette Rups-Donnelly, Director of Powerhouse Presentation.  A keynote speaker, an MC, and a specialist executive presence and presentation skills coach.

Last year, 180 designers, architects and industry professionals congregated for SDPE 2013 held at Austral Bricks Showroom in Sydney. Keynote speaker, Anita Mitchell, Lend Lease General Manager, Sustainability, shared insights into the sustainable plan of Barangaroo South and treated us to an exclusive preview of a yet to be released video of the ground breaking site.
